According to an online report, the next generation Galaxy Tab could use Orion Dual core processor and Quad core GPU. The current version uses ARM Cortex A8 reference design with a pretty fast GPU.
The Orion will feature an even faster graphics processor and a quad core Mali-400 GPU. Also, Samsung’s move to Orion chip design makes perfect sense as its competitors will be jumping to the Tegra-2 bandwagon. Since it has just under a month since the debut of Galaxy Tab, it is unclear when the second generation of Galaxy Tab will be launched. via digitimes
