South Korean company, Samsung has unveiled a new Android tablet that runs Android 2.2 OS. Samsung is calling it SMT-i9100 which is slated to make an appearance as KDDI tablet in Japan.
Samsung launched Galaxy tab in September and this is the second Android tablet launched by the Korean giant. This is the second Android-based tablet PC that Samsung brings to the market with a 7-inch touchscreen display on board, following the launch of Galaxy Tab in early September.
What makes the two resemble includes the Android 2.2 Froyo mobile platform, as well as the 7-inch screen, which boasts a WSVGA (1024 x 600 pixels) resolution. Compared to the Tab, this one sports different specs, including the 3.2MP camera on the back and complete lack of a front-facing camera. More about it here
