Giada F300 is a mini PC barebone nettop from Giadatech, a Chinese company with much experience in the field. As you can also see from the picture given below, the chassis is made entirely of aluminum alloy and its surface is covered with spikes. In this way, its body is able to act as passive heat sink. This also allowed the OEM to eliminate the need of using an internal fan, something that is usually provided in similar computers. The Mini PC is kind of barebones, which only comes with motherboard and processor, giving the user maximum freedom.
The shell of Giada F300 measures 260 x 175 x 35 mm, and features an Intel Core i5-4200U 1.8 GHz processor with HD 4000 graphics card. The RAM slot can accommodate a single module with a maximum capacity of 16 GB, while the hard disk slot can accommodate both SSD or HDD. To output the display, included is a DisplayPort 1.2 that supports both audio + video up to 5.1 channels, digital audio output, S / PDIF, an RJ-45 plug for the Gigabit Ethernet LAN, an infrared sensor, 1 SIM card slot, 4 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0 and 2 COM ports. Do not forget the 802.11n Wi-Fi module, 3G modem and Gigabit Ethernet.
Giada F300 is also designed to be installed on the back of the display, thanks to the VESA, and integrates a TPM security module for hardware encrypting the sensitive data. At the moment, Giadatech has not announced an exact date or an official price tag.
