Gigabyte has released three motherboards today – GA-7PESH3, GA-6PXSV4 and GA-7PESH4. The GA-7PESH3, GA-6PXSV4 are meant to be used in workstations while the GA-7PESH4 is for mission critical servers. The GA-7PESH3 features two sockets and its top core number is 16 when Xeon E5-2600 processors are used.
Second motherboard, GA-6PXSV4 has one socket only and is meant for tower-type workstations where most operations are performed in virtual environment.
Third motherboard, the GA-7PESH4 forms the bastion for critical servers apps. It is outfitted with quad band LAN and supports up to 256GB of DDR3 RDIMM ECC RAM that runs at 1600MHz. Microsoft surface pro price.
