Nokia Lumia 1520 review, after the buzz

I’ve had my 1520 32gb since February, I put 8.1 on as soon as it was available and I love it. My colleagues have turned into 1520 groupies and fondle it whenever they see it on my desk.
Seriously I haven’t had any of the problems I’ve seen others have with this phone. No lock button problem, no slowness, no dim screen no battery issues, no Wi-Fi problems. Apart from Xbox music no nothing.

The only thing I can see which sets me apart possibly from the others is I don’t have any social apps on my phone. No Twitter, no WhatsApp, no Facebook, no Instagram, Flickr and the rest.
I put a 128gb SD card in and everything goes on there, nothing I have control over goes in the phone memory. Any third party apps that don’t behave get elbowed. If an app is buggy then it hasn’t been tested and who knows what other problems are there without being visible such as slow loops and inefficient coding. In fact the only buggy app I tolerate is Xbox music, because I’m patient and have faith Microsoft will deliver the goods.
If I had to score it I’d give it 10/10 without hesitation.
