Haswell is the successor to the Ivy Bridge processors by Intel. However, it looks like it will still take another half year for the Celeron haswell processors to make to the OEMs and market. Of course, the haswell architecture is better than anything available in ivy bridge but it is not ground breaking. So, if you want to make a budget desktop computer, do not wait and build it with Ivy Bridge celeron processors. Let us go through the specifications of upcoming haswell celeron processors – Celeron G1820, G1830, and G1830T.
Celeron G1820 is a 2.7 GHz CPU with 2 MB cache, 1050 MHz integrated HD graphics, and DDR3-1333 memory. http://cpudistro.com/intel/celeron-g1820/
Celeron G1820T is identical, but has 2.4 GHz clock and 35W TDP. http://cpudistro.com/intel/celeron-g1820t/
Celeron G1830 is same as above but runs at 2.8 GHz. http://cpudistro.com/intel/celeron-g1830/
Processor benchmarks will be made available soon.
